If you give it a deep thought, we are all made up of two components only. Ourselves and the people we surround our lives with. Just the amount of ourselves and others in us – varies. Today I want to talk about the second component, about families and friends, and particularly about friends. I have always told everyone – if I’m where I am today, it is because I am more lucky than talented; lucky that God & Gurus sent me some really beautiful friends. He gave me the kind of friendship that moves your universe, the kind that is inexplicably profound.

‘How to meditate, increase mindfulness & find God’ is not my Blog or writing. My intellect is too small to even begin to answer this most profound question like the saints who walked this country did. They gave to this world the real meaning of spirituality and the precise understanding of mindfulness, who is God and how to find God through meditation. This blog is their message, their words, their writing. I feel immensely blessed to be their very small instrument as I amplify their message further. This blog is also my very personal spiritual story: the story of my learning on the most beautiful road of spirituality (Not religion). This blog is long but a comprehensive guide to the above question (I promise). You will need 2-3 readings to fully absorb everything that’s written here. So, be slow and thorough to get the most out of it.

I realize that normally when anyone is made to hear or bear a motivational speaker- it can run the risk of becoming too much of an unwanted ‘Gyaan’. The reason why I promise my people ‘No Gyaan, Zero Yawn ! Events’. Self- Help that actually works. Not just the ‘WHAT TO’ Dos of life. But the ‘HOW TOs’ as well.
Just a few years into my work as a Motivational Speaker; I clearly realized that ‘Being funny is a serious Business’. In the last 18 yrs- humor, sarcasm & story telling have helped me help my audience in more incisive ways than I had initially imagined. But it is much more than cracking stupid, cliched jokes. It requires fearlessness, spontaneity, crystal understanding of audience’s emotional competencies and much more. I am 18+ now in my work. So, censor issues (which I had initially) too have been taken care of 🙂

I do not have an answer to this question. But I wanted to know what makes Harry Potter book series so inspiring to millions of people around the world, including my son. The fandom is obscenely huge, consists of millennials mostly and the author, J. K. Rowling, is still making millions every year even though the franchise ended more than a decade ago! But I am a Motivational Speaker; seeking motivation from anywhere is a part of the job! So, I asked another of my die hard potter fan friend, Arunima, to tell me all about it. This is what she told me:

Age 20 to 30 yrs was all about Over-Confidence, Impressing people by over doing things, Flirting, Randomness, Eating everything served in the Lunch Buffet 🙂 etc.
The next 10 i.e. age 30-40 yrs in summary were all about Confidence, Work-Alcoholism (Did some 80+ Events every single year), Wealth Building, Power, Kursi Ki Peti baandhiye & then whatever time remained after doing these- on Spirituality, Helping People, Mom, Ritika (wife) & Atharv (my son)- not in the same order. All this while, I was figuring out some really important life lessons as I lived my life forward but understood it backwards. Wish I had known some of them sooner.

All my gut check and research tells me that 80% careers of 2030 are not even born yet. Obsolescence like a raging bull is striking hard in every domain. And this is precisely the reason- why you must not invest your time and precious youth into doing things which may not stay significant after a few years. There is nothing more stupid than dating an idea whose time is going and definitely nothing more romantic than dating an idea whose time has come or is yet to come. Hence these itches inside me to pen some deep work about 10 Upcoming Careers of future that can make you very rich.
