The Biggest Lesson of my Life that I picked up during my growing up years:
Life is led forward but understood backwards. A lot of times; when we rightly begin to understand a particular aspect of life- we outgrow that need. To live life well – one needs to understand life well. It is not a rocket science. You can get most formulae correct by just looking at the lives of so many people in your life- your parents, your relatives, your friends, your classmates, your boss…
Have been regularly writing down few of my lessons out of having made mistakes. This is the first one :-
All work and no movies make me a dull man! If you have ever attended any of my sessions you would know that for a Motivational Speaker, I’m pretty non-serious! I use movies, video clips, songs, advertisements, sports – pretty much all types of AV under the sun to inspire my audiences. And who doesn’t get inspired my movies? There is no dearth of funny matrimonial ads in India. Any parent / eligible bachelor / spinster who has been wracking their brains looking for suitable ‘rishtas’ know that some people are just ‘too much’! While travelling to Mumbai for an event in 2003 as a Motivational Speaker; I found this fun article on a piece of newspaper- which was placed below my Vada-Paav. I am happy I could save the paper and share the ad with you! This matrimonial ad is surely going to tickle your funny bone. Read to get married to His Highness? 🙂
HOW WOULD A MUMBAI TAPORI GIVE AN ADVERTISEMENT IN A MATRIMONIAL COLUMN FOR A SUITABLE GIRL.
This is my first blog and I want to share some very crucial lessons that I picked up during my growing up years about choosing the right careers after 10th, 12th, graduation or whichever stage one might be in. I feel bemused when I see some very smart youth; across the world getting perfunctory when it comes to the most important decision of ‘How to smartly choose a career’ that’s befitting and makes them happy too.
