Just a few years back I was regularly finding myself stuck in mediocrity, boredom & confusions. Relationships & people issues were chaining me & stopping me from living 100%. I took a few strong decisions & those decisions helped me drop the unnecessary baggage & fly higher & higher. It is a much lighter and beautiful life now. It is ‘pay back’ time now.
I have always been a Motivational Speaker. Writing was always on the agenda but I always thought I am okay writer. That’s why, when I ended up penning this inspirational Hindi poem – I did surprise myself a little too 🙂
This one is about trying to live better, but failing spectacularly – because of our own tendencies to waste the time of our lives!
First two months of 2012: my work got me to ‘make a difference’ to some 20,000+ lives. February has not got over yet & I feel I am already done with 2/3rd of the country. That’s the life of a Motivational Speaker. I feel glad to have carried out my ‘Happy Energy messages’ across 18 states of India at some 35+ Events / Corporate Trainings / TED talk / India’s top College fests etc in the last 2 months. These would not have been possible, had I not realized the sure shot ways of managing stress in life; they were my saviors!
So many of us are living two lives. One- on Internet and the other — ‘whatever remains from it’. There are people who spend a staggering 8-10 hrs online every day. That’s like – the whole of their productive day. Being online is fine. But how much of it is spent on social media? If it is more than an hour, there’s something wrong with you! So! Guys- what HAPPENings are HAPPENING on the ‘HAPPENING’ front of your Life? If not much- maybe you are NOT doing the NEW. You are just stuck with enacting ‘Your ONLY Life’; in a very ordinary way, yet looking for ways of living a better life. Ain’t gonna happen my friend, because, maybe you are feeling ‘USELESS’ because YOU are using it (brain) LESS. How can the results CHANGE; if the inputs do not CHANGE? Maybe it is time for you to- Do the NEW.
