First two months of 2012: my work got me to ‘make a difference’ to some 20,000+ lives. February has not got over yet & I feel I am already done with 2/3rd of the country. That’s the life of a Motivational Speaker. I feel glad to have carried out my ‘Happy Energy messages’ across 18 states of India at some 35+ Events / Corporate Trainings / TED talk / India’s top College fests etc in the last 2 months. These would not have been possible, had I not realized the sure shot ways of managing stress in life; they were my saviors!

There is a tremendous satisfaction of having touched thousands of lives meaningfully with some crazy events & trainings.

The last two months just could not have been this much gratifying had I been doing ANYTHING ELSE than ‘what I do’. Leaves me with an understanding that — ‘People should try to become what they already ARE; rather than — ‘What they wish to BE’. It will be then become ‘EASY’ to achieve. I studied ‘Fashion’ from India’s best Fashion School; but I am practicing in the ‘Passion’ industry. Trust me — it doesn’t matter- ‘what the hell do you study’. Your IDEA matters. A confident person’s qualifications do not matter.

My plans work & I am able to carry myself with a passionate smile; even during the peak work conditions. The further reasons:-

1) I still have not lost on my ‘Ability to feel Rested’ post intense work hours. I have realized that it is so important to ‘Recover Deeply’ after an engaging period / day at work. Good food, an extra hour of sleep, meditation, disciplined exercising, minimum Mobile phone & ‘ONLY’ utility internet helps.

2) I do not try to do everything myself. I have a team — a set of maverick & lovely friends who make my life ‘so easy’ with their contributions. Do not try to do ‘Micro’; as the results can never be ‘Macro’ then. I have decided to not to ‘Control everything in life’. It is so important to ‘Enjoy the moments’; too…

This is my world of ‘Kaam-Sutra’ & I find myself in the most comforting positions in life because of the above. These two reasons above – I find them to be highly effective ways of managing stress in life – Resting and not micro-managing.
