All work and no movies make me a dull man   :).

Movies — they make us happy, they make us cry, they make us feel romantic; but very few inspire us. Still remember those growing up years; when going to see a very good movie was a big pull in life. I am happy — ‘It still IS’ 🙂

Below is my ever favorite list of Movies. Seeing any of these on a lazy, off day inspires me/ motivates me to do more & more.

The choice is personal. The only criterion I used to pick up these (out of an exhaustive collection); was- ‘how much good / motivated I felt; at the end of seeing this movie’? Here is the list-

1.             La Vita E Bella (Life Is Beautiful)(1998)

2.             Jerry Maguire(1996)

3.             The Pursuit of Happyness(2006)

4.             Chariots of Fire(1981)

5.             Forrest Gump(1994)

6.             Star Wars IV:   A New Hope(1977)

7.             Remember The Titans(2000)

8.             Cinderella Man(2005)

9.             The Shawshank Redemption(1994)

10.     The Patriot(2000)

11.     My Left Foot(1989)

12.     Amelie(2001)

13.     Men of Honor(2000)

14.     Good Will Hunting(1997)

15.     It’s A Wonderful Life(1946- the oldest movie; that I have seen & enjoyed)

16.     Stand & Deliver(1988)

17.     Rocky(1976,2006)

18.     Gladiator(2000)

19.   October Sky(1999)

20.  Never Back Down (2008)

21.   August Rush (2007)

22.   The Bucket List (2007)

23.   The Secret (2006)

24.   Peaceful Warrior (2006)

25.     Three Idiots(2009)

26.     Lakshya(2004)

27.     Kal Ho Na Ho(2003)

28.     Swades(2004)

29.     Lagaan(2001)

30.     Anand(1971)

31.     Guide(1965)

Take time out to catch any of these / more. You never know — ‘An idea might change your life’. STATUTORY WARNING:- Seeing the beautiful ladies in some of these movies might change your ideas 🙂
